Flanner House Gardening Program
1946 was the first year for A. A. Moore as Director of the Flanner House Gardening Program.
A. A. Moore was a "County Agent" during WWII in Tennessee, his position with Flanner House was a continuation of this type of work.
The 1945 Harvest from the Victory Gardens at Flanner House was significant.
After WWII, A. A. Moore would become the Agricultrist for the Flanner House Gardens program.
In 1945 Flanner House played a role in fostering the Co-op Movement.
After WWII, A. A. Moore would become President of a Grocery Co-op in Indianapolis.
In 1943 Flanner House was active in promoting gardening.
After WWII, A. A. Moore would move to Indianapolis and become the Director of Gardening.
