William Johnson Moore
William Johnson (Gordon) Moore was one of the main reasons I do genealogy. Growing up a picture of him and my grandmother Ella sat on a bookcase in our upstairs hall. That photo was lost in a house fire. The only image of them is in my mind.

Our oral history notes that my grandfather changed his name from Gordon to Moore, to better reunite with siblings.
