  		Deed information for Rosson Cemetery Rosson Cemetery is surrounded by private property. In the sixties our parents petitioned the county or state to provide a paved road from the street to the cemetery, to no avail. Other relative are buried here other than my grandparents.

Families living in the Long House as I remember hearing my parents say were Bob and Ida Hunt parents of the late Manor Hunt and Mrs. Nora Scates of St. Louis, Mo. William and Sophia Col, Laura Williams, Robert and Henrietta Williams grandparents of James Williams, Louise and Ellaulse Cole were born on what is now 105 Cole St. also are the rest of the Cole children, other families lived at Long House until they could build or buy a house.

  		40 Anniversary Rosson Cemetery Memorial May 2006, St Paul Baptist Church Kenton, Tennessee The picture above brings back so many memories of all our good times and of all our family members (many of whom have passed on, but are not forgotten). We sat on that porch and swung on that swing seat for many,many years. We listened to crickets and felt that humid temperature as we slept. We watched the children run and play and enjoy the quiet life of a less hurried world than back home. We reminded them over and over to not cross the street without looking back and forth because it was a highway, not a regular street! The 40th Anniversary of the Rosson Cemetery Memorial will be Sunday, May 28, 2006, at St. Paul Baptist Church, Kenton, Tennessee (Reverend Willie Pounds, Pastor).
