BLM exhibit at the Indianapolis Children's Museum 2021
In 2020 John Jr was one of the eighteen local artists who painted a BLM mural on Indiana Avenue, a year later the mural was recreated for display in the Children's Museum. John painted the "L" in Lives that contains a representation of the ballot box.
John Moore, Jr. exhibited art with the Gangang Collective at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in September 2022.
18artcollective
This September, We. The Culture: Works by The Eighteen Art Collective will debut in the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields. After a year of restructuring and various conversations, the new working relationship between The Eighteen, GANGGANG, and Newfields marks a shift in the art narrative.

John's Art was exhibited at the Newfields (The Indianapolis Museum of Art) in September 2022.

I'm excited for my big brother @john.g.moore.jr to have his work exhibited at the Indianapolis Museum of Art @newfieldstoday as a part of the @18artcollective and @ganggangculture show #wetheculture open now through September 2023.
His work references the absurdity of the state killing of Black people/bodies for minor offenses.
