Cynthia's dad, Walter V. Johnson, 85 years old, passed Thursday, July 22 after a long bout with cancer. Like many of us, Mr. Johnson was a student athlete in high school excelling in the sport of football in South Bend Indiana. He was a retiree from the Bendix Corporation after some 20 plus years and served his country in the Navy during World War 11. Mr. Johnson was a caring husband and very good provider and man to his family. In the time I knew Mr. Johnson, never did I hear an unkind word from him about anyone he knew.
