| Aunt Virginia (holding Roosevelt), Bunny, Charlie (in space helmet) and David (at bottom of picture) Here is a picture of Aunt Virginia (holding Roosevelt), Bunny, Charlie (in space helmet) and David (at bottom of picture) - Mark was not born yet. I think Bunny is holding Bobby. Is that a blast from the "way back machine!" From the looks of it, this was in the early to mid 1950's because David looks to be around 4 or 5 years old. |

| Woods-Franklin 1992 Reunion Booklet The Wood's Family established roots in Rockport, Indiana
which is in Spencer County.
Rosa Mealure, born December 7, 1859 and Jesse Woods, born
February 26, 1850, became acquainted,married in Smithfield Baptist
Church, lived on a farm, and raised a family of twelve children,. namely Mary,Malinda, Wilson, Mobelia, Charlie, Ira, Dave, Mason, Arthur, Daisy, Ollie, and Queen Esther. The children, six boys and six girls attended "Little Africa School" Doing farm chores, studying by candle light and lamp light. They were a loving family that enjoyed togetherness.
